Final Book Of Me Clubscrap Challenge

Bistro paper and alpha stickers, Lemonade QK, label maker, flower, kajinker stone and piercer. I've complete all three challenge, every month on the Clubscrap chat board. This has been so rewarding and love the thought of not totally hoarding the wonderful Clubscrap paper.

West Coast Scrap Holiday Tea

For the second year in a row, the WC group organized a holiday tea during the week between Christmas and New Years. We had a wonderful time and great food at Lisa's Tea Treasure in the Pruneyard in Campbell, CA

Here is a link to the photo's I took: http://www.dotphoto.com/Go.asp?l=tbollinger&P=&AID=5039464&Pres=Y

Another Holiday ATC

I joined a 4x4 fat book swap with the theme of Winter Art. I’ve had this idea of a tag I wanted to make with the new Grungeboard Basics and my Sizzix machine. This is not the tree, cardstock or snowflakes I’m using on my 4x4 swap, but it is close to my final idea. I still need to make that tag! Here is the ATC with leftover materials that I had on my desk last night while making my prototype. The Glimmer Mist background can't be seen in this scan, trust me...it looks so dreamy.

Book of Me - My Legacy

I used Club Scrap, Musical Interlude black and white cardstock. The red cardstock is from Autumn Splendor. I used the Cricut Opposites Attract cartridge for the font, scanned a copy of my card and made cross cutouts from Autumn Splendor red. Thanks to Diane Ehlers for getting me past my block with this topic.

More ATC art

I've been busy creating this week. I started 20 or ATC backgrounds during my last session. Here are a few of the completed cards:

Creativity Challenge Week 12 & Week 13

Week 12 uses a clipping from the newspaper.

Week 13 uses a technique that is supposed to look like a bandana with a monogram as the focal point

Book Of Me

I've been participating in a Book of Me challenge on the Clubscrap email list for over a year now. December is our last month. A lot of the postings are personal, so I haven't shared on my blog. This 8x8 layout is for the prompt named: My Hopes

I used all paper from the Dec 2007 Clubscrap kit, Sparkle. Cricut My World cutout and K&Co chipboard letters. I used Snowflake Glimmer Mist on the white background. It really shimmers in real life.

Happy Holidays

I'm having a nice and relaxing day. Doing a little bit of cleaning (so I can play the rest of the week), starting the turkey and playing in my scrap room. I have some art to post, so stay tuned for some eye candy.

More on my Paula Best Art Day

I uploaded all of my photo's to Dotphoto:

http://www.dotphoto.com/Go.asp?l=tbollinger&P=&AID=5014190&T=1

It was a full day with plenty of animals to look at. Amazing, none of the cats are in my photo's. Maybe Kathie Wurdeman got some kitty photo's.

My Christmas Tree 2007

I still need to add a star to the top. I used 1”x4” Basic Grey Figgy Pudding paper strips with quilter pins in a foam cone.

Paula Best Art Day

We got to play with acrylic paint and colored pencils. Learned some wonderful colored pencil tips. So, how do you get rid of the lines? Cover over top of with White or Cream. If you don’t want to mute/blend your original color…Prisma has a blender pen too.

Paula & Theresa brought back some great art magazines from Santa Fe and we tore out images to put on our collage.

Pictured is my finished piece.

Playing with Grungeboard Basics

I have been running the pieces of Grungeboard through my Sizzix Big Shot machine...it works great! Also works with the Cuttlebug dies. The Quickutz dies are a little to short to make a full cut. I have a wonderful idea in my head for a Christmas tag I want to make...stay tuned......

A few more ATC's

More ATC Art

Black CS with Pearl Glimmer Mist, gold stickers from CS kit and bliss from rubon glitter package

This was going to be my Week 11 submission, but it just didn’t turn out as good as the one I submitted. I used Distress Powders (for the first time), cover of the stamps I used to mail Christmas cards and a gold foily thing I ordered from some small ephemera place.

Week 11 Creativity Challenge

Our theme this week was Christmas, Colors are Red-Green-Purple-Gold and Technique is Postage

I used Basic Grey Figgy Pudding as my background, some gossomer fiber from Clubscrap, Stampendous gold corners and the stamp is from the booklet of stamps I emptied to mail out Christmas cards :-)

ATC Creativity Challenge Week 9

This was fun. I've always wanted to make one of these. I used a paper art doll stamp, Clubscrap unmounted stamps from Surf's up and some Glimmer Mist on the ATC card.
