I've been busy creating and have a few things to finish up and a few things I can post. I went to a all weekend crop at ScrapLovers in the San Jose/Willow Glen area this past weekend.

I'm working on the household I've ignored for three days and while doing laundry I need to put some of my projects away. I'm taking my camera upstairs with me to take some pictures so I can finally update my blog.

4x4 Puzzleartsplus Fatbook Swap Postage theme

Used Glimmer Mist and unmounted stamps.
















Used my new Hero Arts postage background stamps and some older individual Hero Arts faux postage stamps. I also used a rubber stamp and distressed it and punched out with a postage punch and attached to a paper clip.

Tote Bag Class at Local Quilt store

OMG, what fun! The little purse can be made to any size, I made mine long so I can put pencils and pens in it. I’ll bring these to the Ranch House crop to show off. If you look at my stitches close, you see my inexperience. If you don’t, the bag and purse look wonderful! I’m so glad I finally REALLY used my sewing machine.

Fat Book Rinda Challenge #4

I used a reverse mono print of the Dreamweaver stencil. The flower is from Stampin Up colored with twinkling H2O's.

Easter Card Copic markers

I used Stampin Up level 1 From the Heart flower with my Copic markers. Cardstock is Clubscrap Simply Beautiful kit.

I've been creating....just haven't had a change to scan or upload to the computer. I've been working on a 21 day challenge that uses up all of my creative energy some days.

Rinda Challenge #3 Feb 2008

I've had this done for a week or two...kept forgetting to bring it downstairs to scan.

I clear embossed the ClubScrap fern stamp with clear embossing powder on watercolor paper. It's been so long, I have no clue what ink I used for the green bkgrd. I think it was Distress Inks, because I know the red is one. The bird was stamped, watercolored, then cut out and attached.

2008 Rinda Challenge #2

Continuing with my 4x4 Fat Book pages:

I really REALLY liked how this turned out. I used stamps from two different Close to My Heart acrylic sets. Lately, my favorite paper has been watercolor paper. I used a brush to coat the 4x4 piece with water. Then, I used Heidi Swap cream acrylic paint for the wash. I tend to use what is out on my desk for these challenges….I just got a new 12pk of Twinkling H20’s from Frantic Stamper. What the heck, I’ve always wanted to try painting the color on stamps with Twinks, I used four different colors…IT WAS A MESS! 24 hrs later and my fingers are still stained, but I really liked how this turned out.

2008 Rinda Challenge #1
